INTRODUCTION

Sainath Education Trust was founded with the objective of imparting education for the betterment of society.The Trust has sown the seed of Sainath Hindi High School in 1986 in Vashi as the first school in Navi Mumbai to cater for the Hindi linguistic minority and all socio-economic classes of society without discrimination of colour , caste , creed and religion. The school is growing fast and continues to add richness in the field of education in Navi Mumbai under the banner of Sainath Education Trust. The Sainath English Medium School took shape in 1989. Sensing the high rate of growth of population of Navi Mumbai and anticipating the need for being the front runner for higher education , the Trust added the English Medium Junior college in 1990 in science and commerce faculty. Information Technology , Electronic & Computer Science are newly started subjects as per the need of society. The college boasts of qualified, experienced and caring teachers ably assisted by non-teaching staff to keep the environment student friendly. The results of S.S.C. and H.S.C. examinations have always been encouraging. The parents and society's satisfaction is the true certificate of the honest and sincere efforts of teachers under the guidance of management.
